Join Orbital Eye as an Earth Observation & Geospatial Data Analyst

At Orbital Eye, we help pipeline and grid operators protect critical infrastructure using

satellite imagery, AI, and geospatial technology. Our COSMIC-EYE platform continuously monitors thousands of kilometers of critical infrastructure worldwide, helping operators identify potential threats before they become incidents.

As critical infrastructure becomes increasingly important to society, we believe continuous

visibility is becoming essential for safer, more reliable, and more sustainable operations.

Since 2012, we have been pioneering satellite-powered infrastructure monitoring,

supporting operators across Europe and beyond in safeguarding the networks that keep our

societies running.

As we continue to grow internationally, we are looking for an Earth Observation &

Geospatial Data Analyst to strengthen our Operations team and help ensure successful

deployment of our monitoring solution within customer organizations.

Why This Role Matters

For our customers, satellite-powered monitoring is not just about receiving data. It is about

making sure the information fits their network, their workflows, their reporting needs, and

their operational reality. As an Earth Observation & Geospatial Data Analyst, you will help make that happen. You will work with customer-specific geospatial data, operational context, monitoring

requirements, and internal teams to ensure COSMIC-EYE is configured and used in a way

that creates real value for each customer.

Your Role

As part of our Operations team, you will:

• Support the successful deployment of COSMIC-EYE for new and existing customers.

• Work with customer-specific infrastructure data, maps, routes, monitoring zones, and

reporting requirements.

• Help translate customer needs into practical monitoring configurations and workflows.

• Analyse satellite imagery and geospatial data where needed to support customer

operations.

• Validate and enrich detections to ensure reports are accurate, relevant, and actionable.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, Product, and AI teams to improve

customer outcomes.

• Support onboarding, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring

services.

Follow one of 2 tracks available in the Operations team:

• Project management focus in the Set-up team – coordination with all teams at OE,

direct implementation of customer project needs, and improvement of set-up procedure.

• Operations specific development – work alongside Product and R&D teams to

improve automation, scalability, and efficiency of operational tools and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Earth Observation,

Geomatics, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

• Experience working with geospatial data, GIS software, satellite imagery, infrastructure

data, or operational mapping workflows.

• An interest or previous experience in self-directed project management is considered a

significant asset. Current project interests at OE include but are not limited to coordination

of project set-up, automation of operations procedures, and development of tooling

specific to operations.

• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

• Professional proficiency in at least one of the following languages is considered an asset:

Hungarian, Polish, Dutch or any additional European language.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

• A structured, accurate, and proactive way of working.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical actions.

• Interest in critical infrastructure, operational processes, and customer-facing work.

• Experience with QGIS, ArcGIS, Python, or geospatial analysis tools is considered a plus.

Why Join Our Orbit?

At Orbital Eye, you will work on real-world challenges where your work directly supports

customer success and infrastructure safety.

You will not just analyse data. You will help customers successfully adopt a new way of

monitoring critical infrastructure.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Meaningful Impact: Help customers protect infrastructure that millions of people depend

on every day.

• Customer-Facing Responsibility: Work closely with teams and customers to make

deployments successful.

• International Environment: Support customers across Europe and beyond.

• Practical Problem Solving: Help adapt our monitoring solution to real operational

workflows.

• Collaboration & Impact: Work with specialists in Operations, Customer Success, AI,

Product, and software development.

• Career Growth: Develop at the intersection of geospatial analysis, implementation, and

customer success.

• Purpose-Driven Mission: Help make infrastructure safer, more reliable, and more

sustainable.
