MIMETAS is looking for a part-time Technician (basic cell culture, laboratory logistics and inventory) to support daily laboratory operations at for its facilities in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Your tasks will include

• Managing the maintenance of the tissue culture laboratory equipment;
• Maintaining the stock levels of the tissue culture laboratories;
• Responsible for clean laboratories and equipment;
• Managing the logistics of the tissue culture laboratories;
• Actively working on safety in the laboratories.

Your profile

• You have a degree in Biotechnology or Life Sciences, Laboratory Technology or a related field (MLO/HLO);
• You are experienced in managing laboratory facilities;
• You enjoy communicating with both colleagues and suppliers;
• You can efficiently plan multiple tasks, set priorities, and manage time restraints;
• Experience with GLP and QC is an advantage;
• Experience with tissue culture is an advantage;
• Motivated, flexible and positive work attitude;
• Proficiency in the English language;
• Proficiency of the Dutch language is a plus.
